Labour largest party on Falkirk Council

LABOUR has emerged as the largest party on Council, winning 14 of the 32 seats in the May 3 Council elections. The result was announced at Grangemouth Sports Complex on Friday afternoon. Thanks to everyone who voted Labour last week.

Your new Labour councillors for the next five years are:

  • Bo’ness and Blackness – Adrian Mahoney
  • Grangemouth – Allyson Black and Joan Paterson
  • Denny and Banknock – Jim Blackwood
  • Carse, Kinnaird and Tryst – Charles MacDonald and Craig Martin
  • Bonnybridge and Larbert – Linda Gow
  • Falkirk North – Craig R. Martin and Pat Reid
  • Falkirk South – Dennis Goldie and Gerry Goldie
  • Lower Braes – Alan Nimmo
  • Upper Braes – John McLuckie and Rosie Murray.
