Falkirk district is represented by three Labour MSPs for the Central Scotland Region in the Scottish Parliament. All were elected on May 5, 2011
Mark Griffin MSP
Mark graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2007 and worked in the engineering industry before being elected to serve as a North Lanarkshire Councillor for Kilsyth in 2008. During the three years representing his community he worked hard for people with individual problems and with the community on larger, council-wide issues.
Margaret McCulloch MSP
Margaret was born in Glasgow and moved to East Kilbride over 35 years ago. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Post Graduate Certificate in Electronic Business. Having worked at the University of Strathclyde for over 17 years Margaret latterly delivered training for Modern Apprentices in a wide range of occupational areas.
Margaret is also Vice Chair of the Constituency Labour Party for East Kilbride, Strathaven & Lesmahagow, member of the Local Government Committee and Treasurer of East Mains Branch.
Siobhan McMahon MSP
Born in Bellshill, Siobhan graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2005 with a 2.1 BA Honours in Politics with History and Sociology. She previously worked for the Labour Group at the Scottish Parliament. She was also a Research Assistant to Rt. Hon Jim Murphy MP and Ken Macintosh MSP. Siobhan is a member of the GMB and currently serves on the STUC Disabled Workers Committee.
